Kinshasa, mardi 26 août 2025 – Le Vice-Premier ministre en charge du Budget, Adolphe Muzito, a reçu en audience le Chargé d’affaires a.i. de la Délégation de l’Union européenne en RDC, Fabrice Basile. Cette rencontre s’inscrit dans le prolongement des consultations techniques autour des perspectives budgétaires et du partenariat stratégique entre Kinshasa et Bruxelles.
Au centre des échanges : la volonté affirmée de l’Union européenne d’accompagner les réformes structurelles engagées par le Gouvernement congolais, tout en renforçant ses investissements dans des secteurs clés.
« L’Union européenne reste un partenaire fidèle de la RDC. Nous voulons continuer à soutenir les autorités dans leurs efforts de développement, tout en incitant davantage d’entreprises européennes à investir ici », a déclaré Fabrice Basile.
Le diplomate a salué la vision du Vice-Premier ministre du Budget, qu’il a jugée « pragmatique et structurée », notamment sur l’amélioration du climat des affaires et la transparence dans la gestion des finances publiques.
Plusieurs pistes de coopération ont été évoquées, parmi lesquelles :
• la digitalisation de la chaîne des dépenses et recettes ;
• la déconcentration des crédits budgétaires ;
• et des projets stratégiques comme le corridor de Lobito.
L’Union européenne entend également agir en synergie avec la Banque mondiale et le FMI afin de soutenir la dynamique de réformes portée par Kinshasa.
« Nous avons trouvé en Adolphe Muzito un partenaire technique engagé, à l’écoute des enjeux économiques et porteur d’une ambition claire : celle d’un budget 2026 crédible, soutenable et attractif pour les bailleurs », a conclu M. Basile.
