Les gardiens de Fleuve Congo Hôtel, ont brutalement attaqué et cassent violemment l’épaule du journaliste Michaël Bakemba, en plein reportage, ce lundi 21 novembre 2022.
À en croire quelques professionnels des médias présents sur le lieu de l’événement, » l’ordre de menacer brutalement le journaliste a été donné par le chef de sécurité de cet hôtel, après que ce dernier ait entretenu une discussion avec l’un des gardiens de cet établissement », ont-ils témoigné.
Selon la victime, ces gardiens ont voulu bénéficier d’une somme d’argent qu’un dignitaire du pays a remis aux journalistes, après l’avoir l’interviewer. Suite à la résistance du journaliste Michaël Bakemba, considéré comme encadreur et leader des journalistes, membres de COJEC, ses bourreaux l’ont attaqué en usant les techniques des arts martiaux, pourtant le pauvre journaliste n’est pas pratiquant de ces sports.
Signalons qu’après l’incident malheureux, le journaliste a été acheminé dans un centre de santé à Lingwala où les médecins ont constaté une anomalie au niveau de l’épaule. Les premiers soins lui ont été administrés, attendant les examens appropriés, qui seront effectués ce mardi 22 novembre, dans la matinée.
Face à la situation, la corporation condamne cet acte des violences faites aux journalistes, dans l’exercice de leur métier. En attendant des mesures qui seront prises à l’endroit des responsables du Fleuve Congo Hôtel, une action de protestation contre les actes de violation de droit des journalistes est prévue dans les prochaines heures.
Lorsque celui qui est censé assurer la sécurité devient lui-même le semeur de trouble, voilà les résultats.
