Ce dernier, assigné à résidence dans la capitale et interdit de quitter Kinshasa, Constant Mutamba affirme être victime d’un « complot politique » orchestré pour nuire à sa carrière. Outre les accusations de détournement de deniers publics, le ministre démissionnaire est également poursuivi pour outrage aux corps constitués.
