Le Comité des étudiants de l’Université Protestante au Congo (UPC), a organisé ce week-end, une conférence de réflexion sur la promotion de l’arbre avec comme thème «les arbres, une arme contre le dérèglement climatique ». Au cours de cet évènement qui a eu lieu dans l’amphithéâtre de G3/Faculté des Sciences Economiques de cet établissement d’Enseignement Supérieur et Universitaire, Mr Rodéric Victor Nyangi a centré son message sur la préservation de la terre au cours d’une interview accordée à la presse.
Pour faire passer la journée internationale de la terre en beauté en République démocratique du Congo, l’un des pays poumon mondial forestier grâce à sa forêt équatoriale, une conférence de réflexion a été organisé à l’UPC pour échanger autour des questions liées au développement de l’environnement dans le pays et ailleurs.
Pour sa part, Mr Rodéric Victor Nyangi appelle les humains à la préservation de la terre parce que au regard de tous les 4 règnes : minéral, végétal, animal et humain, c’est le règne humain qui est fragile de tous. « je pense que la journée internationale de la terre est une journée très importante pour faire voir aux habitants de cette même terre nourricière combien il est important pour nous les autres de la préserver parce que au regard de tous les 4 règnes minéral, végétal, animal et humain, c’est le règne humain qui est fragile de tous est que le comportement de l’être humain envers cette terre impact sur les autres règnes de toute sorte que nous risquons, nous l’humain d’être victime. C’est pourquoi nous sommes venus prendre part à cette activité parce que les jeunes étudiants ont été mis au courant des enjeux et des défis qu’ils faillent relever pour que nous puissions accomplir notre devoir à l’égard de la planète terre», a déclaré le Directeur de Cabinet du Ministre de la Jeunesse, Rodéric Victor Nyangi.
Par ailleurs, Christian K.Biaya président de GREEN SOCIAL CLUB et Organisateur de la cérémonie a remercié tous les participants pour la confiance et la fidélité que ces derniers ont montré à ladite cérémonie qui s’est déroulé dans un climat apaisé.
Rappelons qu’au cours de cette activité, les autorités ont procédé à une série de plantation d’arbres à l’enclos de l’UPC pour donner une bonne respiration à la planète terre.
