La campagne de consultation populaire du réseau “ Pona Congo ”, une structure réunissant plusieurs mouvements citoyens en son sein, s’est poursuivie ce mercredi 21 juin 2023 à Kinshasa dans la commune de Ngaliema.
L’objectif de ces consultations populaires est d’éveiller la conscience de la jeunesse, victime de manipulation politicienne de la part des candidats députés auteurs des promesses vaines.
« La plupart des candidats députés viennent avec l’argent à offrir aux électeurs, mais une fois qu’ils passent députés, ils oublient les gens qui les ont votés. Ils reviendront pour la plupart 5 ans après pour demander encore les voix de la population moyennant un pagne. Il n y a pas vraiment de recevabilité ”, a dénoncé Djibril Ngimbi, point focal de Ngaliema.
La République Démocratique du Congo va entamer son quatrième cycle électoral. Pour mettre un terme aux anciennes pratiques des élus nationaux qui usent des biens matériels pour s’acheter des voies auprès de la population dans véritablement leur représenter au parlement, Pona Congo a mis en place cette campagne pour permettre aux jeunes d’être sensibilisés afin de faire des choix judicieux porteur de salut de la population.
