Kinshasa, 29 mars 2025 – Face à l’ampleur de la mobilisation, les organisateurs de la campagne contre la désinformation, initiée dans le contexte de l’agression rwandaise contre la RDC, ont annoncé un changement de lieu. Initialement prévu au Stade des Martyrs, l’événement se tiendra finalement à l’Échangeur de Limete.
Placée sous le haut patronage du Haut Représentant Tony Kanku Shiko, cette initiative bénéficie de l’accompagnement du Mouvement International des Femmes Dynamiques d’Afrique (MIFDA), dirigé par Mamy Mujanyi Freebox. Elle marque également la clôture du mois de mars avec l’implication du parti politique A.D.E.S.C.O et du Mouvement des Femmes Engagées pour la Paix au Congo (UFEPC).
L’objectif de cette campagne est de sensibiliser la population aux dangers de la désinformation en période de crise, alors que la RDC fait face à des attaques attribuées au Rwanda et à ses alliés. Ce rassemblement entend mobiliser citoyens, acteurs politiques et organisations de la société civile pour contrer les manipulations médiatiques et promouvoir une information fiable et vérifiée.
Avec cette initiative, les organisateurs espèrent renforcer la résilience nationale face aux fausses informations qui alimentent les tensions et la division.
