A l’occasion d’une cérémonie de présentation des Performances 2022 et des priorités 2023 du Ministère des Finances, suivies de la signature des contrats de performances par les Directeurs généraux des régies financières, le Directeur Général de la D.G.I, Mr Barnabé Mwakadi s’est vu plébisciter champion en terme de la mobilisation des recettes à la DGI, au cours d’une cérémonie présidée par le Premier Ministre, Jean Michel Sama Lukonde, le 14 mars dernier à Rotana.
A cette occasion, le Directeur Général de la Direction Générale des Impôts(DGI), Barnabé Mwakadi a été couronné par le Premier Ministre pour son travail acharné qu’il a battu au sein de la DGI, et une distinction en terme de performance de la mobilisation des recettes de la DGI, en dépassant les assignations.
Pour se faire, le numéro un de la D.G.I n’a pas manqué de mots en appellant le peuple congolais à payer correctement les impôts en vue de donner à la République, les moyens nécessaires qui permettront au Chef de l’État de bien matérialiser sa vision. Ensuite, il a remercié le chef du gouvernement pour sa présence dans cette grande activité.
« Nous disons grand merci au Premier Ministre de la République Démocratique du Congo, Chef du gouvernement pour avoir pensé à présider cette cérémonie de remise des prix », a déclaré le D.G Barnabé Mwakadi.
En effet, il a été demandé à la Direction Générale des Impôts, lors de cette activité, de fournir davantage des efforts de tout faire pour placer la barre plus haute.
Face à cette situation, la Direction Générale des Impôts sollicite l’appui du gouvernement avec un logiciel qui leur permettra de mieux gérer la TVA.
