A l’occasion de la 4ème édition de Mongita Awards, qui a fermé ses rideaux, le vendredi 16 septembre dernier, au Musée national de la RDC, situé dans la commune de Lingwala. Au cours de cette soirée cinématographique, organisée par Eric Kayembe, plusieurs acteurs du cinéma ont été honorés pour s’être démarqué dans leurs manières de faire au sein de l’industrie du 7ieme art.
A en croire l’initiateur de l’événement, Eric Kayembe, le festival a tenu toutes ses promesses, et a réussi à valoriser les stars cinéastes congolais :
« J’ai reçu les premiers avis de ceux qui étaient présents, qui ont aimé et apprécié bien que nous ayons commencé avec un léger retard mais sinon, on a su se rattraper rapidement pour libérer les gens pour se retourner à temps. Cette 4éme édition a reçu d’abord pour la particularité d’être patronnée par deux ministres, celui de la Culture Arts et Patrimoines et celui de la Communication ainsi que celui Médias mais également, la particularité c’est que pour toute la première fois Mongita a été parrainée par le DG de la RTNC qui nous a accordé le direct et une tranche publicitaire sur les antennes de la chaîne nationale », a-t-il exprimé.
Il a par ailleurs signalé que c’est grâce à l’association les critiques cinématographiques, nous avons ouvert une branche à l’international pour la toute première fois, nous avons eu le prix du meilleur film international qui a été remis au Congo et au Mali.
Pour les perspectives d’avenir, Nous allons toujours viser la même période mais cette fois-ci, un peu plus vers le mois d’août mais dans les perspectives d’avenir, nous voulons améliorer, nous allons voir ceux qui ne marchent pas ici et nous allons essayer d’améliorer d’avantage.Cette soirée nous l’avons dénommé vivre ensemble, nous avions ouvert une brèche pour rendre hommage aux cinéastes disparus.
