La fondatrice de la structure << Eleza Masolo >> et l’initiatrice du festival » Y’Afrika « , Myra Dunoyer Vahighene, annonce la tenue de la deuxième édition du festival panafricain dénommé Y’AFRIKA Festival qui s’est déroulera du 14 au 15 octobre à Kinshasa. Pour cette édition, « Contes et légendes d’Afrique », est le thème choisi par les organisateurs pendant les deux jours, des spectacles, des projections de films, des ateliers, des conférences et débats ainsi que des expositions et ventes pour promouvoir la culture africaine.
Comme à la première édition, Y’AFRIKA Festival est un évènement qui vise à sensibiliser sur les cultures africaines par le biais de diverses activités touchant tant à l’art, à l’éducation et au divertissement. Les jeunes tout comme les vieux s’y plaisent. Les vieux se remémorent les souvenirs datant et les jeunes savourent l’histoire et découvrent les beautés d’une Afrique, mère de l’Histoire de l’Humanité.
Pour se faire, l’initiatrice du festival et fondatrice d’Eleza Masolo, Myra Dunoyer Vahighene invite les jeunes et vieux à venir nombreux à cet événement afin de promouvoir les valeurs et moeurs africaines, la solidarité et l’hospitalité africaine. << Les vieux vont se remémorer les souvenirs datant et les jeunes vont savourer l’histoire et découvrir les beautés d’une Afrique, mère de l’humanité ! », a-t-elle fait savoir.
Il sied de signaler que ce festival fait preuve de beaucoup de créativités, redonne un autre aperçu aux paradigmes africains, fait voyager à travers des us et coutumes, des traditions d’autres fois et permet de connaitre l’Afrique dans son entièreté. C’est une Afrique belle, riche en culture, pleines d’aventures et d’explorations en termes de valeurs et us que Y’AFRIKA Festival met en avant.
Pour cette nouvelle édition, l’Institut Français de Kinshasa servira de cadre pour ce festival du vendredi 14 au samedi 15 octobre 2022.
Soulignons que le Togo, le Cameroun, l’Afrique du Sud, le Nigéria, le Burkina-Faso, la RDC et bien d’autres pays africains seront bien représentés par des artistes ou des œuvres d’art.
Rappelons que la première édition de Y’Afrika Festival s’est tenue le 5 juin 2021, à l’Académie de beaux-arts de Kinshasa, sous le nom de Masolo Y’Afrika( les Histoires africaines)
