Parmi les premières personnalités reçues figure le président du Sénat, qui précise avoir été reçu en tant que membre du présidium de l’Union sacrée. Après sa rencontre avec Eberande Kolongele, il a affirmé avoir “réitéré [sa] loyauté au président de la République”.
L’objectif de ces consultations est d’aboutir à “une gouvernance inclusive”, tout en respectant scrupuleusement la Constitution, a-t-il insisté.
Le processus a également impliqué des discussions entre la Première ministre et le conseiller spécial du Chef de l’État en matière de sécurité, ainsi qu’avec Augustin Kabuya, une figure clé de l’Union sacrée.
