Kinshasa, 26 avril 2025 — Le communiqué conjoint signé entre le gouvernement congolais et les groupes armés AFC/M23 suscite une vague d’indignation. À chaud, Jeef Pambi, leader du mouvement citoyen Alerte-RDC, a vivement réagi, dénonçant un “immense gâchis” et exprimant une “tristesse mêlée à une colère profonde”.
Selon lui, cette résolution tardive pose de lourdes questions : « Si c’était pour en arriver là, pourquoi avoir laissé mourir des millions de Congolais ? » s’interroge-t-il, accablé. Il remet en cause l’engagement et la capacité du pouvoir en place à défendre les intérêts du peuple, doutant que ses dirigeants se soient jamais mis à la place des citoyens meurtris.
Jeef Pambi va plus loin, exigeant la démission immédiate du gouvernement : « Il a échoué. Il doit porter la responsabilité des pertes humaines et du gaspillage massif de nos ressources », fustige-t-il.
Critiquant la récente initiative diplomatique au Qatar, il s’indigne : « Fallait-il attendre d’aller à Doha pour envisager un cessez-le-feu ? Pourquoi avoir refusé le dialogue quand nos morts se comptaient par centaines et non par millions ? » Il accuse le pouvoir d’avoir manqué de vision et d’avoir sacrifié des vies au lieu de privilégier la paix.
Pour le leader d’Alerte-RDC, l’accord annoncé est loin de répondre aux aspirations profondes des Congolais. Il pose enfin la question cruciale : « S’il faut organiser un dialogue aujourd’hui, entre qui et qui exactement, et pour quel vrai changement ? »
Le débat est lancé, et la colère gronde dans les rangs de la société civile congolaise.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said « You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear. » She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
