C’est une rentrée politique très attendue pour Adolphe Muzito. Nommé Vice-premier ministre en charge du Budget dans le Gouvernement Suminwa II, l’ancien Premier ministre fait ce vendredi sa première entrée officielle au Conseil des ministres, présidé par le Chef de l’État, Félix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, à la Cité de l’Union africaine.
Cette première réunion, hautement symbolique, intervient trois jours seulement après la cérémonie de remise et reprise avec son prédécesseur, Aimé Boji Sangara, au Centre financier de Kinshasa.
Connu pour sa rigueur et sa vision économique, “l’homme des chiffres” entend imprimer sa marque. Lors de son installation officielle, il a annoncé un objectif ambitieux :
« Je vais faire un effort pour doubler le budget de l’État. Il faudra poursuivre les réformes. Ce sont des sacrifices qu’on va imposer à notre peuple et à l’administration publique pour pouvoir réussir ces réformes », a-t-il déclaré.
Au programme : discipline budgétaire, mobilisation accrue des recettes et rationalisation des dépenses publiques. Ce Conseil des ministres devrait aussi permettre à l’ensemble du Gouvernement Suminwa II de s’approprier la feuille de route gouvernementale dans un contexte marqué par de fortes attentes sociales et d’importants défis économiques, dont la mise en œuvre du budget-programme et l’équilibre des finances publiques.
Pour Muzito, cette première participation marque le début d’une nouvelle séquence politique où se joueront des enjeux majeurs de gouvernance, de réformes structurelles et de crédibilité budgétaire.
