Kinshasa, le 21 août 2025 – L’ingénieur Claude Mbuyi, figure engagée de la jeunesse congolaise, a officiellement annoncé sa candidature à la présidence du Conseil National de la Jeunesse (CNJ-RDC).
Dans une déclaration solennelle adressée aux jeunes, aux autorités politico-administratives et à l’ensemble de la population, Claude Mbuyi a affirmé son ambition de mettre ses compétences et son expérience au service de la jeunesse congolaise :
« Chers jeunes, chers compatriotes, je crois profondément au rôle stratégique que doit jouer le Conseil National de la Jeunesse comme moteur de plaidoyer et de coordination des actions des organisations de jeunes. (…) J’annonce solennellement ma candidature à la présidence nationale du CNJ, non pas comme un titre ou un privilège, mais comme un levier pour servir la jeunesse avec intégrité et impact, tant sur l’échiquier national qu’international », a-t-il déclaré.
Un parcours engagé
Titulaire d’un Master professionnel en ressources naturelles, ingénieur agroforestier, formateur, auteur et écrivain, Claude Mbuyi est passionné par le développement durable, la bonne gouvernance et le leadership transformationnel.
Son militantisme remonte à son adolescence, au sein des organisations de jeunes. Il a gravi les échelons jusqu’à occuper récemment le poste de Secrétaire exécutif du Conseil National de la Jeunesse. Représentant actif, il a porté la voix de la jeunesse congolaise sur la scène régionale, africaine et même à la tribune des Nations Unies à New York, où il a dénoncé l’agression de la RDC par le Rwanda.
Vision et inspiration
Claude Mbuyi, admirateur de Nelson Mandela et fervent défenseur de la philosophie Ubuntu, prône une jeunesse congolaise actrice du changement, solidaire et tournée vers le développement. Son dernier ouvrage, paru en 2024, s’intitule « Vers une Gouvernance et un Leadership Alternatifs des Organisations de Jeunes en RDC ».
Avec cette candidature, il entend incarner un leadership basé sur l’intégrité, l’impact et la transformation, afin de faire du Conseil National de la Jeunesse une force de plaidoyer et de développement au service du pays.
