Sous l’impulsion du Chef de service de la jeunesse de la Commune de Kintambo, Anicet Kingumba, une réunion d’échange et d’orientation a été organisée le week-end dernier avec les représentants des ONG et ASBL des jeunes œuvrant au sein de leur Commune. ‘’ Le rôle du service de la jeunesse de la Commune de Kintambo et la communication sur les élections de membres du conseil communal de la jeunesse ‘’ étaient au centre de leur échange, dans l’enceinte de l’espace communal de Kintambo.
Dans son allocution, le chef de service de la jeunesse, Anicet Kingumba, a remercié les représentants ayant répondu à son invitation. Ensuite, il a fait savoir à l’auguste assemblée que le service de la jeunesse a pour rôle d’accompagner les jeunes pour leur épanouissement, d’identifier et d’accompagner les ONG et ASBL qui militent pour l’encadrement de la jeunesse de la commune de Kintambo.
Selon lui, son service est entièrement disponible pour travailler avec les organisations qui encadrent les jeunes. Par ailleurs, il a fait savoir l’importance de cette réunion aux participants.
«Il était question d’informer à l’auguste assemblée de la tenue prochaine des élections des membres du conseil communal de la jeunesse de la commune de Kintambo conformément aux instructions du ministère de tutelle. Il a été demandé aux organisations des jeunes évaluant dans la commune de se préparer en conséquence afin d’envoyer leurs représentants pour occuper des postes au sein du conseil. En attendant l’organisation des élections des membres du conseil, un comité provisoire sera mis sur pieds pour préparer des activités à venir en vue d’atteindre les objectifs assignés », souligne Anicet Kingumba.
Pour leur part, les représentants des ONG et ASBL ont salué l’initiative et sollicité l’implication de l’autorité municipale Madame Inona Sengi Fatuma pour l’aboutissement heureux du conseil communal de la jeunesse, tout en invitant les organisations qui traînent encore le pas de se joindre à elles pour constituer un bloc pour le développement de la commune KINTAMBO.
Signalons que cette activité a connu la participation du Chef de service de la jeunesse ; Sec/bureau du bourgmestre, le représentant du Mec-Asbl, le représentant de l’Asbl OPBS, le représentant de l’ONG JVE-RDC et le représentant de l’Asbl Grandes personnalités.
Il y a lieu de rappeler que ne peut occuper une fonction au sein du conseil communal que la personne dont l’âge varie entre 15 ans à 35 ans et qui a une bonne moralité. En outre, pour participer à ses élections, l’Asbl doit avoir non seulement son siège social dans la commune mais aussi avoir des documents de fonctionnement.
