L’ancien premier ministre congolais Augustin Matata Ponyo a effectué un déplacement, ce mercredi 11 Mai 2022, pour rencontrer le président du Parti Engagement pour la Citoyenneté et le Développement (ECIDE), Martin Fayulu Madidi en fin de discuter autour de quelques questions liées au processus électoral de 2023 en République Démocratique du Congo . Cet échange a eu lieu à Faden Housse situé dans la Commune de la Gombe.
La rencontre entre les deux potentiels candidats à la présidentielle de 2023 survient au lendemain de la double cérémonie marquant la clôture du congrès et de la sortie officielle du parti Leadership et gouvernance pour le développement (LGD) consacrant Matata candidat à l’élection présidentielle à venir.
Avec la décision de la Cour constitutionnelle se déclarant incompétente sur l’affaire Bukanga Lonzo, l’ancien Premier ministre sous le régime Kabila se donne des ailes et affiche des ambitions pour les enjeux électoraux à venir. Et il est conscient qu’il lui est difficile d’atteindre les objectifs en comptant que sur soi.
Ce qui pourrait justifier son premier contact avec le candidat malheureux à la présidentielle de décembre 2018. Martin Fayulu, parce que c’est de lui qu’il s’agit, est compté parmi les adversaires possibles de Félix Tshisekedi lors des prochaines joutes électorales.
Pour ce faire, Augustin Matata s’approche-t-il de Martin Fayulu pour un deal? Rien n’est exclut au vu du microscome politique rd-congolais actuel. Le président de l’Engagement citoyen pour le développement (Ecidé), qui n’est plus en odeur de sainteté avec son dernier partenaire dans la coalition Lamuka à savoir Adolphe Muzito, n’exclurait pas non plus un deal avec un allié de poids que Matata Ponyo pour la conquête de l’Est du pays.
Rappelons que les deux opposants congolais du régime actuel sont aussi les têtes d’affiches pour les élections présidentielles à venir dans leurs différents Partis politiques.
