Dirigée par l’honorable Sangana Bilonda Clémence, la Fondation Sangana a officiellement lancé, comme à l’accoutumée, son opération de distribution de kits scolaires ce mercredi 6 août à Kintambo. Cette initiative, qui s’inscrit dans la perspective de la rentrée scolaire 2025-2026, vise à sensibiliser les parents de la Lukunga, en particulier les femmes, à l’importance cruciale de la scolarisation des enfants.
Empêchée, l’élue du peuple était représentée par Mme Élysée Shabilenge, qui a souligné que la motivation de l’honorable Sangana Bilonda est de voir tous les enfants de Lukunga à l’école, car « ils sont l’avenir de demain ».
« Nous sommes venues ici, à Kintambo, pour distribuer des kits scolaires à nos enfants, afin de les préparer à la rentrée. Comme on le dit souvent, c’est la maman qui donne l’éducation. Nous, les mamans de Kintambo, sommes là pour soutenir nos enfants, car ils sont l’avenir. Nous encourageons toutes les mères à accompagner leurs enfants, car éduquer une femme, c’est éduquer toute une nation. Cette initiative sera étendue à d’autres communes de la Lukunga. », a déclaré Élysée Shabilenge, représentante de l’honorable Sangana Bilonda.
En partenariat avec la Fondation OMA, dirigée par Mme Océane Mpundu, activiste des droits des femmes, des serviettes hygiéniques ont également été distribuées aux femmes pour les aider à mieux gérer leur période menstruelle. Cet événement marque ainsi un double engagement de l’élue : en faveur des enfants, mais aussi des femmes de sa circonscription.
« Nous adressons nos remerciements les plus chaleureux à l’honorable Sangana Bilonda Clémence pour cette initiative qui a permis la tenue de cette activité. Les membres de l’association et les bénéficiaires lui expriment toute leur gratitude. La confiance est placée en elle pour les prochaines étapes, qui comprendront notamment des campagnes de sensibilisation sur l’hygiène menstruelle, avec l’appui de professionnels de santé. », a précisé Océane Mpundu.
Les bénéficiaires ont vivement salué ce geste de solidarité de l’honorable Sangana Bilonda Clémence.
« Nous sommes très émues par l’acte que notre maman, l’honorable, vient de poser. Elle pense à nous en ce jour, et cela nous touche profondément. Nous lui demandons de continuer, que cela ne soit pas un acte isolé, mais une habitude. Que le Seigneur la bénisse abondamment. », ont déclaré les femmes bénéficiaires.
Surnommée « Muinda ya Lukunga », l’honorable Sangana Bilonda Clémence poursuit ses actions sur le terrain durant ses vacances parlementaires. Elle veille à ce qu’aucun enfant ne soit privé d’école faute de fournitures.
