La cinquième édition du prix littéraire Zamenga a connu ses vainqueurs le lundi 19 septembre, dans une cérémonie qui était aussi celle de l’inauguration du nouveau bâtiment du centre Wallonie-Bruxelles en République Démocratique du Congo.
» Je suis ravi que le prix Zamenga 2022 me soit décerné. Être gagnant d’un concours auquel plus de 200 personnes ont participé ne peut que me procurer de la joie « , a déclaré Bonheur Mutamba dans une interview exclusive accordée aux professionnels des médias.
En effet, Bonheur Mutumba remporte le concours pour sa nouvelle dénommée “ Dernier saut ”. C’est le titre de l’anthologie qui sera éditée avec les neuf (9) autres lauréats ainsi que les élèves.
À propos du Prix Zamenga
Ce concours littéraire est adressé aux Congolais de moins de 40 ans installé au pays ou à l’étranger. Ils soumettent un seul texte du genre littéraire nouvelle, de plus ou moins 5 000 mots, sur un thème libre ou proposé.
Le concours est organisé par la délégation générale de Wallonie-Bruxelles en RDC depuis 2017, dans le but de promouvoir le secteur littéraire, et d’honorer la mémoire de l’écrivain congolais le plus populaire, Zamenga Batukezanga.
Un jury, souverain de par ses décisions, composé d’écrivains et de personnalités du monde littéraire, sélectionne les 10 meilleurs textes et les 5 meilleurs pour les élèves, de façon anonyme, en fonction de la qualité, de l’originalité de la langue, du sujet ou du thème abordé et du style.
Rappelons que Yannick Ethan Kaumbo avec sa nouvelle « Sous haute sécurité à Buluo » était vainqueur de la quatrième édition. Pour la section spéciale scolaire, l’élève Dilola Lamama Grâce, de la 5ème année secondaire au Complexe Scolaire Sagesse avait remporté le premier prix pour sa nouvelle « Nyota ya Congo ». Les vainqueurs reçoivent des chèques allant de 1000 USD à 100 USD, du premier au cinquième. Les élèves reçoivent des cadeaux divers comme ordinateurs, téléphones, dictionnaires et des encadrements littéraires.
Notons que, Nzanzu Muhayrwa, Jessica Ntumba, Bénédicte Musuamba, Laurier Mukambilwa, Baby Mapanga, Vanessa Sada Balume, Yolbita Kisem, David Matasima et Gracien Bamenga sont respectivement lauréats de cette édition côté adulte.
Pour la section spéciale scolaire, Chloé-Marie Kitenge du Complexe scolaire Cardinal Malula est gagnante. Medi Bia Anne-Grâce du Lycée Motema Mpiko, Sage Kabala Lueya, Paola Farini Salama et Byenda Butaragaza font partie des lauréats.Rappelons que, la 5e édition du prix littéraire Zamenga a été lancée le 16 mai dernier et la soumission des candidatures s’est clôturée le 31 juillet. Au total, le jury a reçu plus de 200 textes, selon les organisateurs.
