Kinshasa, 18 avril 2025 – « Casser les chaînes du sexisme envers les femmes », tel est le mot d’ordre fort qui a résonné ce vendredi à Silikin Village, lors d’une Journée d’information organisée par le Réseau des Journalistes pour la Promotion des Droits de la Femme (RJPF). Placée sous le thème : « Désancrer les stéréotypes : lutter contre la chosification de la femme et la désinformation », cette rencontre a rassemblé un public nombreux, engagé dans la lutte contre les discriminations sexistes dans la société congolaise.
Parmi les personnalités présentes, le député national Dollie Tshilombo K. a salué la pertinence de l’activité, soulignant son importance dans la sensibilisation contre le sexisme, notamment dans les milieux professionnels.
« Il était important de sensibiliser la population, et plus particulièrement les femmes, sur certains comportements à changer pour leur permettre de s’épanouir et de se développer pleinement », a-t-elle insisté.Elle a également félicité la qualité des interventions, saluant les efforts des différents orateurs pour rendre cette journée vivante, utile et impactante.
Dollie Tshilombo K. a enfin lancé un message fort en direction des femmes des médias, les encourageant à poursuivre leurs efforts de sensibilisation, d’information et de mobilisation, afin de briser les tabous et de pousser davantage de femmes à dénoncer les violences qu’elles subissent au quotidien.
Une journée marquée par l’engagement, la parole libérée et la volonté de changement, dans un pays où la lutte pour les droits des femmes reste plus que jamais d’actualité.
