L’opération de démolition de maisons continue de faire écho à Kinshasa, capitale de la République Démocratique du Congo.
Ce week-end, l’équipe de l’Hôtel de ville, dirigée par le gouverneur Daniel Bumba Lubaki, est passée à la vitesse supérieure en procédant à la démolition de plusieurs maisons, restaurants et établissements privés.
Sur les avenues Bandundu et Lukusa, dans la commune de la Gombe, les dégâts enregistrés par l’Hôtel de ville sont énormes.
Face à cette situation, Jeef Pambi, Coordonnateur principal d’Alerte-RDC et figure emblématique de la société civile congolaise, dénonce une opération qu’il qualifie de « dénuée d’humanisme » et de « processus anarchique » de démolition des habitations.
Selon lui, l’agressivité qui caractérise cette initiative de l’Hôtel de ville profite davantage aux expatriés, au détriment des Congolais.
« Le pays traverse d’énormes difficultés et le Chef de l’État, Félix Tshisekedi, est sur tous les fronts pour tenter d’apporter des solutions aux multiples problèmes auxquels la nation est confrontée. Alors que le pays est sous agression et que les autorités mènent des discussions internationales qui peinent à avancer, la situation interne demeure tout aussi catastrophique », a-t-il déploré.
Les résultats sur le terrain sont, selon lui, choquants.
Il rappelle que ce phénomène, déjà dénoncé sous la précédente magistrature, revient aujourd’hui avec la même brutalité. S’il est du devoir de l’Hôtel de ville d’organiser de telles opérations, celles-ci doivent, insiste-t-il, être menées dans l’harmonie et non à travers des démolitions spectaculaires.
