Le ministère de la Jeunesse et de l’Éveil patriotique, en collaboration avec le Congrès National de la Jeunesse (CNJCO), a officiellement lancé, ce mercredi 26 février 2025, une campagne patriotique sous le thème : « La jeunesse congolaise face à la désinformation, la manipulation et aux intox en cette période d’agression ».
La cérémonie s’est tenue dans la salle des conférences du Collège des Hautes Études de Stratégies de Défense à Kinshasa, réunissant plusieurs jeunes leaders et acteurs engagés dans la défense de la nation.
Une initiative nécessaire malgré le retard
Présent lors de cet événement, Eugène Kandolo, expert en communication, a souligné l’importance de cette campagne tout en insistant sur la nécessité de la mener avec sérieux et conscience.
« Mieux vaut tard que jamais, il n’est jamais trop tard pour bien faire. S’il y avait un retard, nous allons nous rattraper, mais ce rattrapage ne doit pas être folklorique. Il faut qu’il se fasse avec une réelle prise de conscience. »
Il a également salué la présence du vice-ministre de la Défense, qu’il considère comme un atout pour la réussite de cette initiative :
« J’ai beaucoup apprécié la présence d’une voix officielle, en l’occurrence le vice-ministre de la Défense, qui est lui-même jeune et comprend mieux les enjeux sécuritaires du pays. S’il parvient à structurer cette dynamique avec des jeunes et des acteurs bien organisés, il pourra en discuter avec son titulaire et influencer les décisions à un niveau plus élevé. »
Une campagne qui doit aller au-delà des discours
Eugène Kandolo a également mis en garde contre le risque de limiter cette campagne à un simple événement de sensibilisation sans impact réel sur le terrain :
« Ce qui est important, c’est que sa présence et son implication créent une dynamique qui dépasse les quatre murs de cette salle. Il faut éviter que cette campagne ne soit qu’un simple slogan. Elle doit être structurée et déployée sur le terrain. »
Selon lui, le manque de sensibilisation sur cette question est l’une des raisons qui ont motivé le lancement de cette initiative. Il appelle donc à multiplier les activités pour toucher un plus large public et intensifier la mobilisation.
Avec cette campagne, la jeunesse congolaise est appelée à jouer un rôle central dans la lutte contre la désinformation et la manipulation, des armes redoutables utilisées par l’ennemi pour affaiblir le pays. L’enjeu est désormais de transformer cette prise de conscience en actions concrètes et durables.
