Le ministère de la Jeunesse et de l’Éveil patriotique, en collaboration avec le Congrès National de la Jeunesse (CNJCO), a officiellement lancé, ce mercredi 26 février 2025, une campagne patriotique sous le thème : « La jeunesse congolaise face à la désinformation, la manipulation et aux intox en cette période d’agression ».
La cérémonie s’est tenue dans la salle des conférences du Collège des Hautes Études de Stratégies de Défense à Kinshasa, réunissant plusieurs jeunes leaders et acteurs engagés dans la défense de la nation.
La désinformation, une arme de guerre
Présent à cet événement, Maître Jack Kambua, avocat et représentant de la RDC à l’Assemblée de la jeunesse de l’Union africaine, a souligné la gravité de la situation :
« Nous traversons une période critique pour notre État, marquée par une agression du Rwanda. C’est un moment décisif pour le peuple congolais, et la jeunesse doit s’impliquer activement dans ce combat. »
Il a insisté sur le fait que la désinformation est une véritable arme de guerre, utilisée par l’ennemi à travers les réseaux sociaux et d’autres médias, dans le but de déstabiliser les Forces Armées de la RDC (FARDC) et manipuler l’opinion publique.
« Il était important de rappeler que, au-delà du combat mené au front par nos forces armées, chaque Congolais a un rôle à jouer, où qu’il soit. Nous devons contrer la propagande ennemie en diffusant des informations claires et précises. »
Une mobilisation qui ne fait que commencer
Interrogé sur le timing de cette initiative, Maître Jack Kambua a affirmé qu’il n’est jamais trop tard pour bien faire :
« Certes, cela fait 30 ans que la guerre dure, mais aujourd’hui, la jeunesse congolaise se lève comme un seul homme pour barrer la route à l’ennemi. Cette campagne ne doit pas être la dernière. De nombreux leaders de la jeunesse sont déjà sensibilisés pour que cette mobilisation se poursuive. »
Avec cette campagne, la jeunesse congolaise est appelée à prendre ses responsabilités et à devenir un rempart contre la désinformation, un fléau qui affaiblit la nation autant que les combats sur le terrain. L’heure est à l’unité et à l’action patriotique.
