Kinshasa, 27 juin 2024, le secteur des énergies renouvelables en République Démocratique du Congo est en effervescence ce jour avec le lancement officiel du projet énergie solaire décentralisée sur toute l’étendue du territoire national. Une activité qui va marquer un tournant dans le secteur des énergies vertes au Congo.
En effet, la préparation de l’introduction de l’énergie solaire décentralisée en RDC se fera dorénavant progressivement. Quelques sites pilotes ont été identifiés pour la mise en œuvre dudit projet dans les zones rurales isolées dans la province du Kongo-Central, Nord et Sud Ubangi et sur l’ensemble du pays.
Ci-dessous, toutes les informations sur le projet ESD
- ESD: LE SOLAIRE, UNE SOLUTION ADAPTEE POUR LES ZONES RURALES ISOLEES :
. Sa compétitivité la rend de plus en plus attractive face aux solutions thermiques (charbon, gaz, diesel, etc.);
Sa simplicité de fonctionnement permet une grande rapidité de construction et une facilité de maintenance, y compris dans des territoires isolés;
Sa capacité à fonctionner hors réseau en fait une énergie capable d’alimenter immédiatement les populations rurales sans attendre le déploiement souvent long et coûteux de lignes à haute tension;
Son utilisation participe au respect de l’environnement, à la réduction de la pollution intérieure des foyers et limite la dépendance
vis-à-vis des énergies fossiles et de la biomasse.
- ESD : DES EFFETS DIRECTS
Avec l’utilisation de l’énergie solaire photovoltaique, la phase pilote du projet atteint une production de plus de 185000KWh par an pour une installation puissance combiné d’environ 100 KWc pour deux (2) villages;
En sachant que chaque ménage brûle en moyenne 10Kg de bois pour l’éclairage et le chauffage chaque soir, et que 1Kg de bois sec dégage environs 470g de CO2 pendant la combustion, le projet d’électrification permet une réduction de plus de 2500 Tonnes de CO2 par an.
- ESD : UNE SOLUTION DURABLE
Compte tenu de la dispersion des populations, les solutions décentralisées offrent le moyen le moins coûteux de surmonter les limites
du réseau électrique;
- L’accès à l’électricité et à l’éclairage permettent :
- D’étendre la plage horaire d’activité du ménage et de favoriser l’apprentissage et l’étude;
- D’améliorer les services de santé et les conditions de traitement des patients;
- d’éradiquer les risques de maladies respiratoires liées à l’inhalation excessive du dioxyde de carbone due à la pratique de feu de bois à l’intérieur même des cases.
L’accès à l’eau potable permet de réduire le taux de mortalité en éradiquant les risques des maladies d’origine hydrique.
- LA PARTICIPATION DES BÉNÉFICIAIRES
La participation des communautés bénéficiaires est une condition sine qua non pour le succès et la durabilité du projet :
- Les benéficiaires seront regroupés dans des coopératives de gestion et de développement qui bénéficieront de programmes de renforcement de capacité :
- Formations en maintenance de kits solaires, en management et en éducation environnementale;
- Appui financier et techniques aux projets, notamment agricoles.
- ESD : UN VÉRITABLE ANCRAGE
INSTITUTIONNEL
- Un comité de pilotage composé de la Vice Primature à l’Environnement et Développement Durable, du Ministère des Ressourees des ministères provinciaux;
Hydrauliques et Electricité, Ministère du Développement Rural, du Programme des Nations Unies pour le Développement (PNUD) et - Des comités locaux de suivi de projet au niveau des territoires et des secteurs.
Notons que, ce projet vient en soutien à la volonté des plus hautes autorités du pays de réduire la fracture électrique sur toute l’étendue du territoire par l’intégration d’un nouveau modèle d’utilisation des nouvelles technologies, en adéquation avec les objectifs de développement durable.
Dans un monde en perpétuelle mutation et évolution, les énergies renouvelables sont de véritables leviers de croissance.
D’une part, elles offrent l’opportunité de développer de nouveaux métiers et compétences dans le secteur des énergies renouvelables.
