Les tensions montent d’un cran à Kinshasa. L’affaire de la pétition visant la destitution du président de l’Assemblée nationale, Vital Kamerhe, secoue la scène politique congolaise et alimente les spéculations sur une rupture consommée entre lui et le chef de l’État, Félix Tshisekedi.
Selon plusieurs sources, le camp présidentiel aurait déjà manifesté sa volonté de se détacher de l’ancien directeur de cabinet devenu speaker de la chambre basse. Kamerhe, leader de l’Union pour la Nation Congolaise (UNC), est accusé d’être un pion infiltré par les adversaires du pouvoir au sein même des institutions.
Une question taraude l’opinion : la présence de Vital Kamerhe à la tête de l’Assemblée nationale constitue-t-elle une menace pour le régime Tshisekedi ?
Pour certains analystes, la réponse est claire. Les récentes déclarations du speaker, notamment lorsqu’il a dénoncé le manque de papiers et d’outils de travail au sein de l’Assemblée nationale, ont été perçues comme une manière de présenter le pouvoir en place comme incapable de gouverner efficacement. Une sortie médiatique qui a renforcé les soupçons de rivalité ouverte avec le président de la République.
« Kamerhe n’agit pas en véritable allié de Tshisekedi, mais plutôt en concurrent politique », glisse une source proche du camp présidentiel. Les rapports entre les deux hommes, déjà fragilisés par des divergences passées, ressemblent désormais à une cohabitation tendue où chacun guette le faux pas de l’autre.
Pour certains stratèges proches de Tshisekedi, l’heure serait venue de mettre fin à cette alliance devenue inconfortable. Comme le dit un acteur politique, « l’homme du chapelet blanc n’ayant pas réussi à s’imposer face au président, il ne reste plus qu’au camp Tshisekedi d’en finir avec lui ».
Dans ce bras de fer aux allures de divorce politique, l’avenir de la coalition et l’équilibre institutionnel de la RDC risquent d’être profondément bouleversés.
