Kinshasa, 04 février, Le Parti EKOLO a officiellement lancé sa rentrée politique 2026 le mercredi 28 janvier de cette année en cours, à l’occasion d’une réunion du Directoire national élargie aux présidents fédéraux et communaux.
La rencontre a été ouverte par un message de vœux du Président national, Chris Mukendi, qui a exhorté l’ensemble des cadres du parti à renouveler leur engagement, leur loyauté et leur détermination pour l’année politique en cours.
Parmi les points majeurs inscrits à l’ordre du jour figurait l’évaluation du fonctionnement du parti après deux ans d’existence. Fondé le 3 février 2024 à Kinshasa, le Parti EKOLO affiche aujourd’hui un bilan jugé plus que satisfaisant. Le parti est désormais implanté dans 22 provinces sur les 26 que compte la RDC, avec des fédérations opérationnelles sur une grande partie du territoire national.
Cette progression est notamment attribuée à une stratégie de communication offensive et soutenue, portée par les cadres du parti sur la scène médiatique, permettant à EKOLO d’imposer sa notoriété dans le paysage politique congolais.
La restructuration du parti a également constitué un axe central des travaux. À cet effet, Me Papy Djosso, jusque-là Secrétaire général adjoint, a été désigné Secrétaire général a.i. par le Président national. Par ailleurs, un réaménagement de la Ligue des jeunes a été opéré avec la nomination de nouveaux coordonnateurs.
Une commission ad hoc a été mise en place afin de poursuivre la restructuration du Directoire national, en procédant à une évaluation fonction par fonction des secrétaires nationaux.
Les échanges ont donné lieu à un débat à la fois houleux et constructif, témoignant de la vitalité démocratique interne du parti.
La réunion s’est clôturée par une cérémonie d’échange de vœux, dans une ambiance de convivialité, de concorde et de cohésion entre les participants.
