Lors de la Master Class de l’Excellence, tenue ce jeudi 27 mars 2025 à l’Académie des Beaux-Arts de Kinshasa, Marius Muhunga (MM), journaliste et Directeur Général de Kinshasa Télévision, a insisté sur la nécessité pour les Congolais de s’approprier et d’encadrer l’intelligence artificielle (IA) afin d’en faire un levier de développement.
Cet événement, initié par Me Farouk Mahumbala Mulandu, président fondateur de Bravo X, le Trophée du Vaillant Africain, a rassemblé des politiciens, entrepreneurs, professeurs d’université, étudiants et autres personnalités influentes.
L’intelligence artificielle, un défi et une opportunité pour la RDC
Dans son intervention, Marius Muhunga a tenu à sensibiliser les jeunes et les autorités congolaises sur l’omniprésence de l’IA dans la vie quotidienne.
« L’intelligence artificielle est bien réelle en RDC, et nous devons apprendre à vivre avec. Cependant, l’humain doit rester au centre de tout. Nous devons l’encadrer pour en être acteurs, et non de simples spectateurs. »
Il a souligné que de nombreux Congolais utilisent déjà l’IA sans en avoir conscience, notamment à travers les réseaux sociaux.
« Lorsque vous êtes sur Facebook, l’application vous propose du contenu qui correspond à vos préférences. C’est l’intelligence artificielle qui analyse vos habitudes et vous suggère des publications en conséquence. »
Un appel aux autorités pour démocratiser l’IA en RDC
Face à cette réalité, Marius Muhunga exhorte les autorités à mettre en place des outils et des cadres réglementaires afin que chaque Congolais ait accès à l’IA et puisse l’utiliser pour stimuler l’innovation et le développement.
Il met également en garde contre l’exploitation de l’IA par certaines puissances mondiales, soulignant qu’elle peut devenir un instrument de domination économique et politique si elle n’est pas bien maîtrisée.
« L’intelligence artificielle facilite énormément de choses, mais elle peut aussi être un outil de pression. Il est donc crucial de la comprendre et de l’adapter à nos réalités locales. »
Cette Master Class de l’Excellence a permis d’ouvrir un débat important sur l’impact de la technologie en RDC, et le rôle que doit jouer la jeunesse congolaise pour en tirer parti intelligemment.
